Currently we are recruiting for an experienced HVAC Installer to work on our upcoming standard and prevailing wage projects.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Installation of HVAC units, electronic and mechanical components. 
  • Installation of HVAC ductwork including flexible tubing and sheet metal construction. 
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units including electronic and mechanical components. 
  • Reads blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools and diagnostic hardware.
  • Operates various measuring, diagnostic and testing instruments. 
  • Install or gas lines. 
  • Conserve, install and recycle CFC and HCFC (Chlorofluorocarbon family) refrigerants if certified.
  • Comply with the standards for HVAC systems as dictated by the State in which the work is being done.
  • May perform brazing, soldering, pipefitting, welding and fabrication if certified. 
  • Maintain a safe and clean work site.
  • Adhere to and enforce Jet Industries' policies and safety standards.
  • Keep Jet vehicles clean at all times.
  • Requisitions material and supplies by looking ahead and scheduling.
  • Install Condensate Piping.
  • Install Intake and Exhaust Venting.


Qualifications Include:

  • Have the ability to regularly lift up to75 lbs.
  • Have the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.
  • Have the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.
  • Have the ability to regularly kneel repetitively during shift.
  • Have the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis during shift.
  • Have the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis during shift.
  • Have the ability to walk extensively throughout the job site during shift.
  • Have the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.
  • Have the ability/willingness to mentor, train and work with employees.
  • Have the ability/willingness to keep a positive work environment.
  • Have the ability/willingness to plan ahead.
